Where can you volunteer to serve Thanksgiving dinner?

Where can we volunteer to prepare/serve Thanksgiving dinner w/ the kids?

I know some places have a minimum age requirement, but the whole point is that it is a family event where the kids help others for the holiday.

We volunteered at the Salvation Army in FWB one Christmas morning a few years ago. It's a bit of a drive, but so worth it! I'd like to know if there are any other places closer. I seem to remember seeing a flyer at Caring & Sharing last year about helping out during the holidays...but not sure of the details. You might check with them. Keep us posted if you find anything.

Here is a list that was sent to me several days ago, of United Way agencies in need of help for the holidays. I am not sure if any of the organizations listed allow children to help, but the phone numbers are included in case you want to check. Hope this helps.
