I have had to get used to the snake thing- we have lots of rat snakes around our house and yard. My kids love them. My husband likes to play Crocodile Hunter with them. The nature guy at my son's camp brings lots of snakes every summer for the boys to "play with", so the picture is from the day we picked him up and he wanted to show his sister his fave snake.
My grandmother hated snakes so much that if we even said the word, we got smacked across the mouth. I only said it once.
