The beach,the amazing number of creative people and a chance to be a part of a community that is growing into a unique cultural center for people from all over the world brought me here. What I have learned is that we are truly a small town in paradise. I am a wanderer by nature but I doubt I'll ever leave this area. There is no place else quite like it.
I moved to the beach to ride jet skis and scooters.

This brought tears to my eyes. Seriously. This thread makes me hopeful and sad at the same time.
Nope, it wasn't. My hair was getting too gray up there, driving in that insanity.
And, yes, yes, yes to everyone else's reasons.
I love our beautiful, artistic community.
I moved to the beach for the same reason I do most everything - because it seemed like a good idea at the time!
