well it all started groiwng up in south georgia, my family always visited PCB or Destin at least once a month during the Spring and Summer months. I graduated highschool went to THE UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA and played college baseball transfered to TROY University did the same joined a fraternity had a blast. Once college ended, i knew i always wanted to live at the beach. So i packed up everything and took a real estate job in Gulf Shores AL. Stayed there for about 3 years made my girlfriend move down and join me and life was good. Real estate and mortgages started to take a slide and i was just getting bored with the state of Alabama. We decided to pack up everything and move to Destin. Now I was 26 and had a great girlfriend and knew we could make it anywhere, so we came with no job just enough money to pay the deposit and get the power cut on. It was March '05 and you could pretty much feel the power of this little area. We lived in Destin for 2 years and my girlfriend at the time got pregnant. the jobs we were working at the time we lost and decided we had to move out of what we were currently living in. We had a friend who owned a house in santa rosa and just so happened it was coming up for rent. we jumped on it the only other option would have been to move closer to family and get help. No not us we moved in to Santa Rosa beach got married 5 months later on THE BEACH in blue mountain and 3 months ago just had my son at the brand new hospital Sacred Heart on the Emerald Coast. i mean does it get any better? i now have established my family in this community and can't wait to raise him on the values and morals that made this place what it is today. yes we had set backs and still struggle day to day, but all i have to do is drive down 30a with my wife and son in the car, look to the right and see the worlds most beautiful beaches, look to the left and enjoy the awesome houses and landscaping, look up and enjoy the blue skys and thank HIM for everything.
