think about when I argued about the Clintons amassing 100 million through peddling influence in a most vile way. Your response was "good for her". Did you really believe that?

I honestly don't give a rat's ass about it. That's the best answer I can give you. Like I said, I support her unconditionally at this point. . I'm under no obligation to be honest and forthright regarding my opinion of her alleged crimes and indiscretions. Just playing to win at this point. After she's elected, maybe I'll have more to say on these matters. Consequentialist, look it up.

Bob, when I agree with someone, I don't go out of my way to find ways to disagree. I consider it a practical and morally correct thing to do to vote in this election, more than any election I have ever voted in.

don't go on the offensive because I'm asking for introspection. It means I'm striking a nerve, no?

You telling me that my life is going down the crapper just because yours is going that way is extremely offensive.

we are a nation of brands..all the way down to our bumper stickers. how many do you have adorning your car? Of course we are tribal. It keeps us from cooperating.

Bob, I went through my Bill Hicks phase 20 years ago.

ok. everyone is getting cranky now. I am saying your religion is the Democratic Party. The tell is all the gratuitous posting such that no one will engage you. It is almost as if to admit that the alter of politics you worship at cannot be exposed for it's very deep flaws without you considering it a personal attack. Similar to attacking the Catholic religion's massive pedophelia issue and abswering with "yes, but they do a lot of good work". You won't give an inch for the sake of argument because on an emotional level is uncomfortable to see any flaws in your thinking. Yes, it is outcome thinking...and it's the expressway to hell. It's tribal, and I for one believe our society is the worse for it. I'm not buying into the corrupt column A or B choices anymore. This year we saw 2 candidates come up from the fatigue and frustration folks see in a failed system of infantile polarization. It's just the beginning.

I was getting cranky awhile ago, but now that you used English, I got your point. I can't disagree with much of what you say, but I don't understand the conclusion to play dead on election day.

No, I would say if a viable candidate like Bill Weld could somehow get the Republican nomination (hint:he can't), then I would seriously consider voting for him.

I've said it before and I will say it again, just because the Republicans are having buyers remorse for the third time in a row doesn't mean the Democrats are. The right wants to make it a both sides issue every time they screw up. If you genuinely believe both major parties are the same then maybe not voting is the morally correct thing to do.

I don't have any reservations at all about being a Democrat. The list of competent progressive people involved in the Democratic Party, people like Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Elizabeth Warren, Tim Kaine, Michele Obama, Micheal Bloomberg, Bernie Sanders, who all back Hillary Clinton makes me proud to talk about my support for this ticket. The reason there are no other voices on this forum is there is simply no way to defend the Trump mentality, and the Republican Party knows this. Reality, not religion.

Voting for Clinton certainly paves the way for a brighter future than the alternative.
