Like your response to scooterbug in post #42?

Those that "RULE THEIR FORUM" do put down those that disagree with them...it seems they take pure joy in their bully ways...if it isn't their opinion...all others are useless...There are many who have left or stopped posting because of this....I find that the moderator avoids and ignores these bully folks and allows them to continue their put downs without any warnings...

:shock:I don't see what the controversy is - people were looking to build a raft out of televisions, stereos, basketballs sneakers, cases of beer, and various electronic goods - all perfectly suitable as life-saving flotation components.

The rafts that were assembled are now on display at the Smithsonian Museum's 'Katrina' exhibit.

Like nobody here's ever strung together a few toasters and X-box 360's to do some tubing down the Blackwater River.

Sheesh!

Read up on the Japanese "gaman."

Their children are also taught a Japanese proverb at a very early age-

"The nail that sticks out gets hammered down"

I was married to a japanese man:

Looking back it did have the elements of an earthquake, tsunami, with some pearl harbor thrown in.

A very worthy adversary :D
