It is not unusual for items to be removed from the agenda. They may have been removed for a number of different reasons. Corrections, further study, Commissioner's request, etc. It does not mean they are trying to hide or cover something up, necessarily. And where might one get one's hands on a copy? Having been in attendance at the BCC meeting Tuesday, I observed what appeared to be controversial issues being taken off the agenda with blinding speed. In particular, the item relating to a proposed transfer of $1.5 mil in TDC reserves was taken off and deferred for a month because of a supposed typo that had inadvertently substituted TDC for another agency's initials, which typo had survived being posted in legal notices and the agenda, at the very least. Typo?Well all I can say is, if you havnt read the report you might want to get a copy and sit down with it. I'm sure you will see my concern on why it was taken off the agenda at the last minute.

Thanks for the vindication of what I had posted.I checked on this and was told that the public can obtain a copy by contacting Walton County Citizen Services. Their phone number is 892-8530.
My understanding was that the commissioners did not discuss the report at their meeting this week because they wanted time to look at the report, since it had just been provided to them.
