My sister and her fiancee have a Rhodesian Ridgeback who's like a hundred pounds. He has this hysterical habit of walking between people's legs. Apparently it's a thing with Ridgebacks but it doesn't quite work when you're not tall enough. There's been a few times that he's caught me unawares and I've inadvertantly rode him across the room. Sweetest dog, though.

Enough talk folks, lets see some pics!

AIT- got dog pics? I have a mostly Rhody mix, 90lbs. Let me find a recent pick of the old man. He usually keeps part of his body off his bed. He is too funny. Right now he is on his back with his head off the bed. Snoring.
I swear he gets that from me!

Here's a pic from the other night. The way his paw is on the floor he looks like he is trying to stop the room from spinning. I know he has never seen me do THAT before!

A friend of mine rescued two grey hounds, but had two cats. The simple solution was to "introduce" the dogs and cats. You simply hold the cat up and let the dog come on over. The cat swipes at the dogs nose and presto! The dog leaves the cat alone forever.

I had a parrot for a while. We also had dogs. I put the bird on the floor and let the dogs aproach. Dog 1 got bit big time on the snout. Dog 2 was a little more cautious but got it on the lip. Dog 3 paid attention and didn't get anywhere near it. Bird 3...dogs 0. They never bothered it after than...

My Havanese dog, Butter travels in the airline cabin with me regularly. Travels better than I do. Of course, I would travel well if someone carried me around in a bag with a blanket and a selection of treats. After he's done well on a trip, I take him through the drive-in window at the closest In & Out Burger, where he gets a lettuce wrapped meat patty. Butter has become discriminating. He begins to bark and lick his chops as soon as he sees the yellow and red arrow logo, hops onto the console of the vehicle and barks a friendly "hello" to the person when we get to the window. He has no interest in McDonalds or Burger King and their ilk.

Butter also watches The Animal Planet and tennis matches. He chases the ball with the tennis gig. What a life.

Brandon actually enjoys going to the VET! I say we're going to the VET and boom- he's in the front seat of the car ready to car. Once we get there he has to pee all over the parking lot so every one knows its his.

Then we head to the door. He sees all the girls in the office and goes ga-ga. Traitor. Love's my his vet. If he could talk, he'd call him grandpa!
Kinda hurts my feelings. When I pick him up, if he's been boarded, he's hesitant to leave. That really hurts!
