My 12 year old son was watching it with me. He is a big Shaun fan. He told me he wanted be just like Shaun. I told him I didn't know where he was gonna find snow to snowboard, because this is as far north as I go. I told to him to dig out the skateboard!

The short track speed skating made me a nervous wreck! They are going so fast and are al on the edge of clipping each other with their blades. Yikes! Made my eyeballs hurt.

does anybody remember watching eric heiden in the 1980 winter olympics. he won 5 speedskating gold medals and i was totally in love with him. i probably still have my eric heiden scrapbook at mom's someplace ! he could crack walnuts with those thighs - yummy !
