The trucks were out putting sand and cinders on the bridges.

great pix, LadyD.

I do get sick of the snow here but I swear, every time it snows, I get excited each time! It's beautiful. I'm excited for everyone!!:clap::clap:

I seriously do hope tho, that all of you did get your gallon of milk, ciggys and other staples. You don't want to be out driving.

Thanks Johnrudy. We have the two things we cannot do without and that is milk and bread. But those are the main two things I never let run out. I don't plan on going out driving. But I would love to be out sledding. I might have to get my sled out tomorrow morning and use it. I'm a big kid.

Well, Minnie I am glad they put something down somewhere. I didn't see a truck one out today.

LadyD, what about toilet paper? I'm always afraid I'm going to run out of toilet paper and toothpaste. But really, I live less than a mile from a Kroger and also a Walgreens, so I don't think this snow is going to cripple me that bad. Plus I drove an all wheel drive SUV, so I plan to be out tomorrow like normal.

I'll get some pictures first thing in the morning and post them. I'll avoid taking pictures of the 'yellow snow' my sweet dog has made this evening. She has a winter fleece coat that she doesn't get to wear very often and she doesn't like having to put it on before going out. She's a true Southern gal!

Well, MKH, we are good always on the TP. We buy the bulk package at Sam's of their toilet paper. I think it is 36 rolls. And we buy the bulk package of Bounty paper towels there also. And the 4 box package of their Crest or Colgate toothpaste also. So we are good for now. The snow will probably be gone tomorrow afternoon. It is 28 degrees outside. First they were showing a low of around 22 in the morning, now they are showing 28 which is what it is now. But the snow continues and from what I've seen on weatherbug it could continue overnight also.

With all those supplies from Sam's, you should be good until Memorial Day! I just can't believe how much snow we have gotten. And so many times this winter they have predicted a chance of snow, only to get nothing more than rain. We definitely got it, this time.

I am going to measure it again in the morning after all is said and done. It is hard to see the mark on a small ruler. And I cannot find our big yardstick. :bang: But a tape measure will work good.

Well, I just read an updated forecast on our desktop weather site. Now our winter storm warning has been extended until 6:00 a.m. CST tomorrow morning with another inch of additional accumulation expected overnight with snowfall totals ending up 4-8 inches. Wow.

DD, I am worse than a kid. I want to go out and play in it. I have a sled. I might have to break it out in the morning. :D I found our yardstick and measured the snow off the side porch. We have 6 inches out there now and it is still coming down. And we are expected to have more overnight.

My husband just called and he is on the way home from work. He is on the interstate and said it is pretty bad. The side roads will be worse. I hope he can make it up the long hill he has to come up near our house. I would hate to think I would have to drive down there and get him.

But anyway, hopefully he will make it. I will get more pics in the morning.

Have funn and be safe!:D

Snow in the 'Ham! I just went downstairs and BB had to show me out the kitchen window. I went to the car, and my trunk was frozen shut...
