And they are hitting my front window as I type. I love spring and summer!!!! Funny, the last few years they've been showing up earlier and gone by June or the end of June.

I love junebugs...it's one bug I don't mind picking up.
I am totally confused. Google "junebug" and hit images and look at the pics that come up. Junebugs look like nasty Japanese beetles according to Google, so that can't be what you two are talking about! What do your junebugs look like?

I never said I liked 'em. They are nasty beetle things. But they are a sign of summer....and they don't hang around long!
KEEP THEM!!! They hang around here forever and eat every bloomin' (literally) thing in sight!

Ladybugs are so pretty. The site where I got this pic called them both May beetles and junebugs.
OMG, the I swear those pics were not that big...
Our June beetles in North TX appear in Spring and exist in the yard (soil) as a grub with a dark head. It curls into a C-shape. Not usually a problem unless there are too many.
