YOLO invites all area standup paddleboarding enthusiasts to join the 8th Annual YOLO Board Relay Series scheduled for May 28, June 18, and July 16. Presented by Garden of Life, the series will be held at The Bay restaurant on the beautiful Choctawhatchee Bay. Each event will include race giveaways, live music, refreshments and special kids' activities.
The much anticipated annual event consists of team relay-style competition in three recreational divisions: men's, women's and coed. The cost to participate is $180 per three member team. In addition, Special Olympics Florida-Walton County and Special Olympics Florida-Okaloosa County athletes will compete for the second year in a row. Characterized by carefree and friendly competition, the series offers an opportunity for spectators to cheer on their favorite teams and learn more about the ever-growing watersport of SUP.
