City of Destin 16th annual Run with the Dogs 5K takes place on Saturday, March 19 at 9am.

This run is open to individual runners/walkers also we are opening up two new categorie, walker with stroller and runner with stroller. Participants may bring their dog, big or small, to run or walk the race. All dogs are required to be wearing their current rabies tag and must be on a short leash. Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs (bring your baggies)!

The 8th annual Irish Street Fest & Grogg March takes place at HarborWalk Village on Destin Harbor on Saturday March 12 starting at 1pm.

Don’t forget to wear your GREEN! The whole clan will enjoy an afternoon full of live Irish music and activities! Wee ones will enjoy face painting, arts and crafts, and an interactive treasure hunt through HarborWalk Village, sure to lead to the Pot O’ Gold!

After dark, “Sham-Rock” for a cause! Travel throughout HarborWalk Village for the largest Grogg March this side of the Blarney Stone!

The Destin History & Fishing Museum announces their Annual Gumbo Contest and Silent Auction Fundraiser. The event will take place Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Destin Community Center from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.

Area restaurants and individuals compete for the title of the best gumbo on the panhandle. The event will include live music by a local band and a silent auction of sixty plus packages including artwork, vacation stays, jewelry, and restaurant gift certificates, boating and fishing trips, services, golf, recreational activities and much more.

We're bringing the heat to the Destin Harbor as over 20 restaurants cook-up their secret Chili recipes for the 11th annual Emerald Coast Parrot Head Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, FEB 27 starting at 11am!

Grab your Krewe to experience Destin’s biggest Mardi Gras parade on the Destin Harbor on Saturday, February 6 from 2-4pm. Dazzling floats, colorful costumes, street performers, live entertainment and more as the parade rolls through HarborWalk Village.
 

The crowds will experience Louisiana-like revelry at the largest and most vibrant celebration this side of Bourbon Street. Come and second line down the harbor!

Come out for great live music in the town of Seaside for the Seaside Half Marathon & 5K after party. Forrest Williams Band on stage in the amphitheater from 9:30am til 12:30pm. The Seaside Run Expo with silent auction items, runner awards, and much energy is going to be flying on Run Day in Seaside, Florida.

Shawn Byrne. Born in 1973. Middletown, Ct. Middlesex Hospital. The umbilical cord was cut and a new one was soon attached. This new cord plugged straight into a wooden Zenith record player where the future musician was nourished via headphones with the music from his fathers eclectic record collection. Cash, Willie, Waylon played nicely alongside The Stones, The Beatles and The Who.
