Emerald Coast Top Salon 2014 will be held on April 4 at 7pm at Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa. The charity event gathers a who’s-who of the Northwest Florida salon industry for a night of makeovers, drinks, music, food, and fun.
EC Top Salon 2014 will challenge the expertise and creativity of the top 10 nominated area salons as they embark on a 24-hour head-to-toe makeover of a local model of their choosing. The event culminates with all 10 models enjoying their moment in the spotlight as they reveal their new look during a dazzling runway showcase.

Endangered Species At Topsail Hill, several plants and animals are protected because of their rarity. Lots of folks know about the endangered sea turtles and beach mice, but this program will teach you about some of the others as well. This program will also cover some of the management techniques used to ensure the protection of these rare beauties. After paying the park entry fee of $6, park staff will direct you to the clubhouse.

Enjoy an evening of music at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park every Thursday from 6pm–8pm. Americana Under the Stars starts with an open mic at 6pm in the amphitheater/clubhouse. Park admission is free and a suggested $5 donation benefits the Friends of Topsail Hill. Bring a chair, your favorite beverage, and enjoy some music in the park. There will be food available for purchase at the concerts. The event is family and pet friendly, and fun for all ages.
