Old Florida Holiday and Winter Market at WaterColor Nov 30

On Saturday, November 30th, 2013, the WaterColor Community Association will host their 6th annual Old Florida Holiday and Winter Market from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m in WaterColor’s Town Center.

This will be an extreme holiday extravaganza complete with snow, carriage rides, bonfires, Santa, lighting of the tree, music, beautiful lighting around Town Center and of course a winter market full of gifts, sights, smells and tastes of the season. This event is open to WaterColor residents, guests and the public and is free of charge for attendees.

South Walton Celebrity Golf Classic Tees It Up Oct 31 - Nov 2

The 17th Annual South Walton Celebrity Golf Classic has a growing list of participating celebrities as well as talented line-up of entertainment. The two-day tournament will be played Oct. 31 - Nov. 2 on the Baytowne Golf Club and Raven Golf Club courses at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, and will be complemented by celebrity events and evening entertainment at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa. 

 

Hotel Oscar Crafting Genuine Music

As I walked into the Funky Blues Shack in Destin to sit down with Hotel Oscar, they were jammin’ out on stage – playing a Miles Davis. The dark empty bar during the middle of the day was brought to life by the jazzy, bluesy tune. It felt like the five guys that make up Hotel Oscar had been playing together forever – perfect chemistry and perfectly in sync - The crazy thing is, they haven’t been together long.
