Leather and pearls go together like sand and sea. After years of sailing to ports of call throughout the Caribbean and beyond, Wendy and her husband/soul-mate Jean-Noel eventually settled in Seaside and opened La Vie Est Belle to showcase her handmade jewelry. Now located at Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse in Grayton Beach. Wendy's creations have become something of a trademark for the South Walton beach life. There are those who have copied her, even tried to imitate. But she has loyal customers who have adorned themselves for years with her art, and are proud to say, "It's a Wendy."
