The Henderson is hosting Holiday Sip & Shop on Tuesday, December 13 from 2-6pm at the new resort just open in Destin, Florida. Enjoy shopping with multiple vendors who will be showcasing their items at The Henderson Boutique: candles, stained glass items, holiday décor, skin care products, handbags, holiday fashions and so much more! Live music in the Living Room, jewelry trunk show, and discounted spa products. Complimentary hand treatments, make-up demos, eye treatments, educational workshops. Sip on holiday drinks and complimentary mocktails and shop for those you love.

Come out to Sip & Shop and take in the incredible works of art by Destin and South Walton artists. Every aspect of the The Henderson has been meticulously planned and the art displayed throughout the property is no exception. After a long and rigorous selection process, 13 local Destin artists were chosen to create custom pieces, specifically for The Henderson. Each piece has been thoughtfully placed throughout the resort to add both beauty and ambiance. The result is a stunning coastal resort with an inspired sense of place. Artists include: Justin Gaffrey, Melody Bogle, Russ Gilbert, Mary Hong, Velia Lala, Tony Mennillo, Lori Drew, Barbara Flowers & JoAnn Williams, Melissa Brown, Jeff Waldorff, and John Maher. Donnie Galli with Designs by Donnie was commissioned to crate the handcrafted lobby table and the retail counter (wood and vintage metal) in the Gift Shop.

The halls of The Henderson will be delightfully decked with touches of sparkling coastal finery. Gather your friends and family for a traditional feast with all the trimmings for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years Eve’ dinner in our elegant Primrose Restaurant. Celebrate the season with daily festive fun from making handmade holiday ornaments, and taking portraits with St. Nick to cozying by our outdoor fire with a cup of hot cocoa and fresh baked cookies to hear your favorite holiday tales. Enjoy family movie night under a blanket of stars on the Grand Lawn with fresh popped corn, hear holiday carolers croon your favorite holiday tunes and meet up in the Living Room lobby to hear live music beautifully played on our gracious grand piano.
