fyi - out of towners - the newspaper version includes an image of the message board front page (forums) and a big sowal sticker!

I think the article was very well written and an excellent introduction to sowal.com. there are some things that are just hard to represent in a short article though - such as how the board is represented by people from so many parts of the country with diverse backgrounds and a pretty wide range of ages. south walton is the common ground. but the community encompasses so much more.
I was proud to read all about it!
glad they didn't mention the PCake thread though... tee hee. although its a perfect example of how we all came together to help out a fellow sowaller who needed to find a special local baker, and how we all got to be witness to a very happy and successful ending (bachelorette party at Red Bar, complete with photos of party and cake, and a printed book of the thread presented to the lucky bachelorette)...
