When it rains.....

it pours. My brother is building a house. They just got the roof on last night. He had his fifth wheel camper, and my dad has his fifth wheel camper parked right beside the house. I just got a call from my dad to tell me that all three of them have burned to the ground. They don't know at this point if it was electrical or arson. The investigators are there now trying to determine what happened. It breaks my heart. My daddy and brother have worked so hard on that house. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Thank goodness all of them had insurance!!!!

Oh Darlene! Where did this happen?

It is way out in the country in Cullman, Alabama. Actually, it is out in middle of nowhere. It is my brothers property and he deeded an acre to my dad to move on when he sales his place in Old Town, Fl. They had the campers there because they stayed there on the weekends while they were working on the house. No one was there at the time, so thankfully no one was hurt.

Thank you all so much for your love, prayers, and concerns. I will keep you updated as I get information from my family.

Gull, I am so sorry! They say things happen in three's. So you should be done for a while. I sure hope so!!! I am glad the incident at your home didn't involve J surprising the creeps that broke in. I am glad he and the pups were unharmed. I am glad you are getting an alarm system installed.

I hope that the fire will be covered by insurance and construction can begin again soon! If you need a get-away beginning next week end , your room will be ready and waiting. ;-)

Well that really suks Darlene. All that hard work, but at least they weren't there and no one was harmed if you look on the bright side and they didn't lose any family memoirs or belongings that had special meaning.

Similar incident happened to my sister in law.
Brand new house and they were in it for about a year and the electrical was faulty. They weren't home thank goodness. But they had to buy all new clothes, furniture, you name it and live in a rental until the house was rebuilt, and they and the kids were rather traumatized for a while.

I think you need to come to the soiree next weekend and take a break.
