I sleep with two dogs. One is at the top of the bed and the other sleeps at the foot. My husband travels quite a bit and the dog will not let him sleep in the bed. She puts her toes is his side and pushes him out. It is funny that 14 pounds can be so forceful.

Well, our dogs never slept with us.They always liked a cold floor but I just found a tick crawling on the quilt on our bed. :yikes: And my husband was down at his mother's Tuesday and she has many outdoor cats. So I am sure he picked that tick up either down there or while outside using the chainsaw in our backyard the other day to cut up that tree that fell. It is very wooded here, it was not a really small tick though but a tick is a tick. Yuck.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Bailey and Guinness are very generous with our 4 inches of bed. The 11 lbs wonder can take up more surface than me! I think people sneak into my house while I'm gone and spoil these dogs. It's one of those senseless crimes.:blush:

3 dogs - The biggest sleeps on my feet, legs, whatever she can get and the proceeds to lie cross ways (is that a word?) I cannot kick her, move her at all - she becomes dead weight, about 70 lbs of it! She puts her chin on the bed and howls until I say get up! I either can try to outlast her howling or just give in and say get up. She stays that way until the dog across the street starts barking.

The other 2 take turns with our kids, they always switch off. Griff is the last to get up in the morning, doesn't care if there is food or not. Only time this ever changes is when there are thunderstorms or bombs. Then I have 2 dogs in my bed - one on my head - who weighs about 50-60 lbs.
