I'm still trying to decide if I'm gonna work that day and take Friday off. It's mine and mr. dd's 10th anniversary, but I'm not getting any vibes that he's got anything special planned. Probably just dinner on Tuesday night. Speaking of which, being the loving and thoughtful wife that I am, I haven't gotten him a gift yet....y'all got any suggestions?

I guess the party's at my house. That's what I've heard. I think I am buying bar-b-q from our local joint down the street and asking everyone to bring a side dish.
I don't know if there's fireworks this year or not. I'll probably be asleep anyway. It's kind of wack when the 4th is in the middle of the week and everyone works the next day. We are headed to S.C. on Friday for our BFF's son's wedding. I suspect that'll be more like the 4th of July party we are accustomed to.
