Kitty--I hope you feel better! (And that your rain leaves you and comes here. Then we'll all be happy?)

New pet peeve: My dryer needs a new belt. My windows need cleaning from the outside. My garage needs to be re-roofed. We won't even talk about all the yard work that needs doing. I'll do all these things eventually, (not today, but eventually,) but I just spent the last few hours cleaning my car. It needed waxing.

I should be waxing my legs instead of my car. I'm a girl, dadgummit. Where the hell is my husband?

God luv ya, NH!! :D When you get a husband, you won't have to wax your legs. :D

people who throw still lit cigarettes out of cars on Highway 98 in the middle of a drought...people who do not know how to move through a four way stop.

I think I am going to suggest to the TDC that they put together another brochure for people...called, Having Good Manners While in SoWal.

Today in the 5 short miles from my home to my office, I witnessed the careless driver with the cig; the totally oblivious carload of young women almost cause an accident at the intersection at Gulf Place because they slammed through the 4-way stop; and to finish it off there was an out of stater poking along almost over the center line yakking on a cell while driving....

next summer I think I will leave for the mountains. The "touri stress" is getting to me:yikes:

:rotfl: ..no, you can wax his chest or your car!!!

Or he can wax his chest, my car, and my legs, and I'll retire.

I live in fear of these people because of my convertible top. (Nevermind the risk of forest fires and my lungs... )

Wanna house-swap next year? I'm between the mountains and the lake... (Disclaimer: there are trashy rednecks here, too. In fact, I think they're everywhere.)

Speaking of trashy rednecks...there is an abundant supply in my town. My peeve is that many of them have a blue tooth thing on, but children look like orphans. Really misplaced priorities!
