I woke up too early so thought I'd surf a little. Went lookin' at all your old photos. I  old photos. Where are those ruins and big columns? I really  the one of the lady in the ol' timey swimsuit on the ladder pickin' oranges or grapefruits or somethin'. Is that your momma? In one shot it even looked like there was a little ledge om the edge of the beach like there is so often down there. Wonder why? I don't remember this ledge on Jax or Ft. Lauderdale or Clearwater/ St/ Pete, other Fla beaches I've lived near. Maybe it's just the different geography or sand texture? Seems like other beaches have a lot more coquina. Sowal sand is so nice and soft. Is the one of the little girl gazing over the beach taken in the 60's? The old ones wold be grayt for decorating! Good luck on your ebay venture. Sounds like a funn idea.

The ruins and columns are in Greece in the 1930's; the old timey swimsuit is my great aunt Carolyn here in Santa Rosa Beach, next to Redfish Lake; the girl on the beach is at Blue Mountain in the 60's. I'm supposed to have a booth at the Heritage Museum on December 15 in Val P. They have both Okaloosa and Walton County Histories.
