I will admit too that I love a beautiful snowfall. But, alas, we get few of them. Mostly, we just get ice and crap. I don't think I'd make it any more north than I am though.
Toots, I do love most of those things too. And I hear ya about actually being OUT in the cold, but those things don't get me nearly as excited as flip flops, warm summer nights, SoWal in the spring, summer, fall, cool tropical drinks, salads, beer, green grass, flowers...I could go on and on. There's one thing on your list though that I do absofnlutely love....chicken and dumplin's!! :love: (no bones, of course)

Who hates going to the grocery store in this cold? I wouldn't take my gloves off in the freezer sections. The worst is when your glove gets stuck to a frozen food item and you look like a loon trying to shake it off. :lol:

:lolabove::lolabove: What a picture...you make me chortle!

I like Florida Panhandle Winters. It's a significant enough seasonal change
for wearing my sweater collection & indulge in most of Toot's list of cozies, but NO shoveling required. I do NOT miss shoveling winter!

And I'm at that "time in life" where I can pile more clothes ON...but it's physically impossible to get nekkid enough when a flash ignites!:blush:

PS - Toots I'm Lovin' all your beautiful new tars.

That's so funny that you say that, because shoveling to me is the best part of winter. I love the snow coming down and shoveling it after. We have a realllllllllllly long driveway and it takes me hours, but I get to be outdoors burning calories and building muscle and breathing fresh crisp air when I shovel. I can't tell you how much I love doing it, even when the snow is heavy. It brings me back to my childhood in New England. You want to see snow? Grow up in New Hampshire. I feel like a kid again when I pick up the shovel. The years slip off my shoulders so gracefully and I'm young again...when I have a snow shovel in my hands.

:rotfl:I just thought when I stopped at the store tonight to buy MORE soup ingredients that I hate going to the grocery store when it's cold! Now, I will think of you every time!!

Mermy--you make shoveling snow downright nostalgic and funn!

Bless You Mermaid...you really do make it sound lovely & beneficent.:love:

Shoveling also makes me feel like a kid again... but in my farm girl memories, Shoveling and Grace do not co-exist within proximity of one another! :rotfl:
