Reminds me of two emails I got last week. 
Most staff people are afraid when they send out a blanket email, thinking that some smart-alec faculty member is going to correct their grammar.

I just received word from the city that the water to all parts of the college will be off tonight from 8:00 pm until 6:00 am Thursday morning. This will probably affect the houses in the neighborhood. I’m not sure how it will affect other properties. Hopefully I danced through the affect/effect conundrum correctly.

I wish my town had the equivalent of SoWal.com ... today the woman co-anchoring the Gasparilla Pirate Invasion parade on our local NBC station was clearly drunk or on something, slurring her words, making no sense! It was so bad she was taken off the air near the end. She allegedly claims she had the flu.Unfortunately there is nowhere for people who watched the debacle to gather online and laugh at her ... if it had happened this afternoon in SoWal there would be 100 posts by now, at least!!

Such an instigator. Nice thought, but ... I can barely get the laundry done. Also it would help if I could draw interest to the site by taking beautiful photographs of one of the world's loveliest places.
