Thanks for the reminder, OL. I've not watched the Oscars in forever, but I'm sick so I pretty much have nothing else to do.

I just turned on the Barbra Walter's special. Is she horribly frightening to any one else?

I saw Eastern Promises with Viggo Mortenson. It was a good movie. He's up for a best actor award.

I babysat for my sister one night so the hubby and her could see that movie and they were the only ones in the theatre. Heard there was lots of blood, gore, heads rolling and mass mayhem. Great after dinner movie.

Just saw Michael Clayton last night. It was alright. I also just watched two other movies that were filmed very similarly. The editing technique must be a trend and was interesting, but found the movie to be predictable. I am sure Clooney fans loved it. I don't know the other choices up against it, so can't help you out there Shakken.

I am going to an Oscar party! Lots of snacks, drinks & good friends. Before the party starts, everyone votes on who they think will win & there are prizes afterward for those that got the most right & the most wrong. I don't think I have seen any of the movies that were nominated so maybe I have a chance in the "most wrong" category". :roll:

Worst dress so far- Viggo's wife. What a tragedy.

Kate is scared of Tilda Swinton and her white washed face.

Actually, I liked Jennifer Garner's dress. Classic. The black is almost refreshing after 3 red dresses with red lipstick in a row tonight.

On the other hand, Jennifer Hudson's dress is downright scary since her tatas are flopping over the empire waist. Makes you want to jump out on the red carpet and hand her a better foundation garment, to prevent them from resting on her thighs during the show.

Calista Flockheart looks pretty, but I would love to force feed her a box of doughnuts.

Colin Ferrell needs to wash his hair.

Cameron Diaz looks like she always does. She wears the same type of dress. This type does suit her, and so does the light pink.

Someone tell Renee Zellweger to quit sucking lemons before she poses for pictures.

And for the love of pete- what qualifies Kimora Lee Simmons to be a red carpet commentator? What a skank.
