After McKenzie, my black lab/rhodesian ridgeback mix was denied the comfort of lounging on the couch watching Animal Planet (we put mouse traps on the couch and chairs), she had to find alternate means of entertainment. This being taunting the rhodesian she lives with and making him do things for her.

I like to think of it like they're dating.

Oh and she likes to cause drama between the cats.

LOVE this video, Biff!

Never realized there are so many border collie's on this board! :D

We finally stopped making our beds anymore. Rudy would un-make each bed everyday. Blankets, comforters would be stripped down; pillows just tossed off to the floor!

I've heard of the mouse trap thing.

I want to use them to keep Rudy from running up to the front window when the mail man walks by & scare the bejeebers out of him. Rudy goes absolutely insane & his claws destroyed the previous window sill. We just had new windows installed in the whole house last week & so far I've been able to divert his attention when the mail man approaches but I can't keep doing this.

Mr. JR says the mouse traps might hurt him badly. BUT he was infuriated with the window sill destruction from before that I'm willing to give it a try.

LabLady's farmer father rigged her couch with hot wire (covered with metal tape). Scout does not like the couch anymore. You can imagine the sight of this rigged couch was hysterical!!!:yikes:

try some empty cans filled with peas or rocks and hopefully when they fall from him jumping at the window he will stop. Also try to give a sharp, No, when you see he is going to do it and take him back to another area and put him in a sit/stay till the mailman leaves.
