So now where is Hillary in all of this? :D

she is in there obviously. with some excellent positions. just not my first choice personally, for all the reasons we've discussed on here in the last several weeks.

you know, both Hillary and Obama offer views and positions which are very consistent with what they have always believed and worked toward in their work in politics and senate positions. so, there is really nothing new or inconsistent with what you would expect in either candidate. obama has been talking to the US citizens for over 2 years now, in the media, campaigning, letting us know about him - where has everyone been? they act like they've never heard of the man.

unlike both mccain and former candidate romney, they have not shifted their positions in order to fit the mold of the party platform. this makes me feel that both are genuine in their goals and positions. I do believe consistency in a candidate's life work and political philosophy is very important. while I do think McCain would do a credible job as President in most areas, I do not respect his recent pandering to his party. its just embarrassing.

Obama and Clinton have shifted their bio's to increase their appeal to Dems. Have you seen the Obama's tax returns? They've been doing pretty well yet they've given us the impression that they're just squeaking by. I could really relate to Michelle Obama when she complained to a group of women in Ohio (median income of $37,000) that Barack was getting after her for spending so much money. The Obama's are just scraping by with all the dance lessons, piano lessons, summer camp, etc., they were out $10,000! It is highway robbery (actually we have several children who would love to go to camp, but we cannot afford it so we do without). Not to mention that they have not been very generous to charities even though Barack Obama wants us all to pay to reduce global poverty. I gladly give to charity and do so much more generously than the Obama's have. Another case where Barack could lead by example, but chooses not to and another reason why I don't buy into his persona.

And Clinton, we all know that she is not genuine.

It has always struck me as strange that Americans want their leaders to be " average joes" -- not to rich or intelligent. Would you like Obama better if he wasn't so wealthy or attended less prestigious schools?

One can want to help the average citizens without having to live in poverty or talk like some cowboy hick.

We live in a capitalist society where one should be rewarded for hard work and intelligence. Any good republican understands this.

Obama Releases His 2000-2006 Tax Returns, Demands Hillary Release Hers

By Greg Sargent - March 25, 2008, 11:43AM
This is pretty funny. Hillary spokesperson Phil Singer blasted out an email at 11:23 insisting that Obama release his tax returns for back years,
Exactly two minutes later, at 11:25, Obama spokesperson Tommy Vietor emailed out word that Obama had posted his tax returns for 2000-2006 on his campaign web site. Turns out the Obama camp has been planning this for some time.
You can view them here.
In pure political terms, this will obviously give more political potency to the Obama camp's efforts to make Hillary's failure to release her returns a key issue in the campaign. The Obama camp is now free to beat this drum between now and mid-April, when the Hillary camp has promised to release hers.
Indeed, the Obama campaign is already calling on Hillary to follow suit. ?Senator Clinton can?t claim to be vetted until she allows the public the opportunity to see her finances," Obama spokesperson Robert Gibbs says, in a reference to the Hillary camp's frequent claim that Obama has not been thoroughly "vetted" in advance of the general election.

I understand from other articles his income bump came from his book selling well. I have no issue with that:dunno:

:dunno::dunno:

I don't care what school Obama went to or how much money he makes, as long as he is honest about it. I wasn't criticizing wealth or education--I like money and I like education (and I like hard work).

(F.Y.I. I still have a Romney bumper sticker on my car. Remember him? Multi-millionaire Harvard JD/MBA ;-))

Something tells me many, if not most, men will complain about the wife spending too much money, regardless of how much money they have. I think it's just wired into their brains.
