Tofu, I've already stated my personal thoughts on judgment. The statement, "do not judge others," is only part of a bigger picture. As someone else wrote, it is referring to the "final judgment," not every day life. It is also noting that you will be judged by your peers and society, so make your judgments wisely, and remember the log in your own eye.... That is quite a different concept than the order, "do not judge others." I don't mean to get wrapped up in semantics, but I just wanted to point out a big distinction.
Trying to keep on the topic of homosexuality and the Bible, I think Ecclesiastes is a good read. It doesn't directly address homosexuality, but it does address to some degree, the "final judgment," noting that rich or poor, we all stand before God in the end. (that's my brief summation of the entire book of Ecc.) That could be carried over into homosexual behavior -- hetero or homo, we all stand before God in the end. Isn't there something about judging the sin, not the sinner, in the Bible? As I pointed out earlier, the Bible states that even looking with lust at a woman is a sin, and sins being the same in the eyes of
"the Lord," I can say that I'm guilty as charged, so throw your stones at me, too, while you are throwing them at the gay people of the world.
That doesn't mean that part is not important.
