With girls in bikinis, wanting to sweat on paddle boards, who cares about Russell Crowe?

Watch out if he is within reach of a telephone. He'll beat you over the head with it.

With girls in bikinis around, I'd never see the telephone coming, and really wouldn't care.

The Walton Area chamber had its 2nd annual Celebrity Waiter Dinner tonight at the Sandestin Hilton. This is a fund raiser for the Walton Chamber Foundation. It was all about movies and Jay Odom's group did the Pirates of the Caribbean and Capt. Jack Black showed up. It was really him! What a nice guy. I was able to meet him, sat at the table next to his. He is still there now having his pix taken with anyone who pays the $20 which goes to the Chamber Foundation. Wow, how cool is that. Many people did not believe it was him, but he was in full make up and garb. He had all the same mannerisms and the swagger. There was tight security, but a good time was had by all. Story is that Jay knew someone that knows him and found out he was going to be in Orlando and paid the fee to bring him up for the event. The hHlton wait staff said that while he was in the back of the kitchen waiting to go on stage he was signing autographs and was a very nice guy. Cool!

Ya just never know who is going to show up at a Walton Area Chamber event.
YO HO HO and a bottle of rum (or two)! I hope it was him. Even if it was not-- it was fun.
