Sorry for your loss Minnie, how very sad.
How 'bout this weekend?! This sounds like a good one!
This oughta be good.....details please.
His name was James, we were in 8th grade (also first kiss) gorgeous blue green eyes, sandy brown/blonde hair, we went together off and on until his family moved to Houston my 10th grade year(no that is not why I went to Rice) we also went to church together. While I was in Texas we used to all get together, but alas, he had a girlfriend. He later tried to get me to go out with him, but I was in love with a UT football player. AAAAAAAhhhh, youth.
Minnie... very touching sweet / bittersweet story. Thanks for sharing.
As for MY story... I reserve the telling for a wench-night on my patio under cover of darkness and a few bottles of wine ;-)
Time, date?????![]()
Wow, this thread brings back memories.
I vote for fudge and red wine instead of popcorn ;-)

What wine pairs best with popcorn?????

Of course all the girls at work thought this was scandalous! LOL We called the florist to try to find out who it was. The only thing we found out were his initials which matched my first love's. Never heard anything from him after that. About 7 years ago I heard he died of a massive heart attack at the age of 36. It made me really sad that I never heard about it and couldn't pay my last respects. It also made me sad that he never got married. I know it's something he always wanted.
