Both Bill Maher and Rush Limbaugh make me laugh, though with Rush it is mostly at him. Rush doesn't bother me like Hannity does as I can tell by Rush's tone he often knows he is full of it, Sean, I think, actually thinks he really is a Great American!.

I don't care for Monty Python films. If you told me that I don't like them because I just don't get the humor I would say- absolutely, you are right! There are a lot of things I just don't get (e.g. NASCAR, voting for Bush in the second election, etc.). The fact that I don't get these things isn't related to my intelligence or lack there of...

Please please stop speculating about what people are implying and instead read what they are saying...

Sorry, I didn't get it. I forgot that I was on SoWal and those with "dissenting" viewpoints, who try to rationally and calmly explain or stand up for their views, are being needlessly defensive. Thanks for clearing that up for me

My whole point in this discussion is that religious bigotry is the only form of bigotry that is still acceptable in America. And to be honest with you, once again I've been sucked into a SoWal thread and Bill Maher is so not worth my time so this is all I'm going to say on the matter. Thanks for listening to a different opinion.

And I guess that you are implying that I am a Bigot because one time I defended Rush Limbaugh when someone mischaracterized something he said (and I don't even listen to him often, but I do know how to use a computer and do a little research now and then). For instance- your post above. I read it and I think you are apologizing for being so needlessly defensive. Oh wait, now I can't tell if we are the ones with the dissenting viewpoint or if you are. Then it hits me. Oh, you are being sarcastic with your thanks and your apology.
