I never have any trouble pronouncing any words.:lie:
But this reminds me so much of my friend Tina, who grew up in Cleburne, TX. She's jsut a little bit country. Sometimes, we jsut call her up and ask her to say "Raw Oysters". It always comes out "Roy Oysters". Guess you have to be there, but it cracks us up EVERY time! She always gets really mad when we do this and proceeds to tell us to go eff ourselves. :D

For some reason that word is always difficult for me to pronounce. What words are hard for you to pronounce?

(there are also words I love to say....but that is another thread)

Reminds me of Jenna on "30 Rock" starring in a movie called The Rural Juror. No one could understand her when she told them title of her movie.

The Barbara Walters Interview in the show was a riot:

There are no certain words that I have trouble with, but my friend Erin has trouble with "cinnamon," "aluminum," and "moose."

one word that makes me cringe more than all others is "both". I'm amazed at how many people say "bolth"

Rhinoceroses. Yep, more than one. One of the books I read to the youngest boy has this word in it (along with a drawing of two, huge rhinos) and I always seem to add one or two -ses onto the word. It can get so bad that I can never finish the word! Rhinoceroseseseses...

You can just say rhinocer-eye. ;-)

How much Alkehall have you had tonight? hmmm?

I am working on a huge project at work. I am doing some Automated Computer training for an Army program that is used all over the world by Army pilots/soldiers. As some of you know I am an Alabama country girl with the twang to go with it. Anway, with this project I have to record me telling them what to click on, what to type and so on...the guy that is working with me keeps telling me "Oh, my, they are going to love your voice". Of course, I hate to hear myself because I feel like I sound like I am right out of the backwoods of Alabama. There are so many words that are hard for me to pronounce in this training, but I just give it some twang, and he says "that will be just fine". I will be glad when it is over!!!!

I listen to "foke" music, but don't like egg yolks. What's up with that?

Why don't I say them the same?
