Dear Al,

Here in Dallas, Texas, we have gone from freezing rain on Monday to pushing 80 degrees here today. WTF is happening?

It's like that old saying...running hot and cold.

I am a believer in climate change now. :D

I've got climate change going on right here--in my own body--and then the weather has to get involved. Sonofab!tch is right.

Thought y'all might enjoy some pictures of global warming. It's been pretty, like a sparkly fairyland, but the trees have taken a beating. Lost lots of huge branches, too. I have some serious pick up sticks to do this Spring.

Absolutely beautiful, Mangy. One of those would make a great Christmas card for next year.

I just posted the pretty pictures. I have mayhem pictures. The birch trees literally fell over from the ice and they were touching the ground in the roads from both sides. The first day, some had to be cut so people could pass to go to work. Then as the day progressed, it warmed up some and it melted enough and work crews came and tried to tie them back. If you look closely in one of the pictures above with the pine trees in the distance, they are almost twice the size. They just keeled over from the weight. They will bounce back eventually. I hope. Nothing worse than losing a beautiful pine from weather. I have a huge cherry tree (about 60 ft. tall, that fell over.

I'm sure. I remember some booger ice storms here too. Lots of lost trees, etc. It's a shame, but it sure is pretty.
