Wahooo, I LOVE good news! Here's some of mine: our sons are both healthy, happier than ever, making the best grades ever, and more engaged in campus/community life than ever before. What a joy to see your children thriving and happy.
Antibiotics are beating the evil flu that had me down earlier this week, so I know I'm going to live; DH took the bestest sweetest care of me while I was sick. He is so patient and kind.
We have been given a deluxe beautiful free apartment for one week in a progressive European city for a family vacation, and my DH and sons talked me into doing it despite my whining about $$$. Our generous accommodation-giving friends also spent Saturday with us and the maps, marking all the best spots to go for art, chocolate, breakfast, lunch, dinner, groceries, beer and wine.
I have a stack of great new and old books to read.
I have a stack of used magazines I'd love to share (perhaps at some local gathering place like Amavida or SVM) -- containing good news. (Ode, Yes!, Permaculture Activist).
I have the coolest accountant on the planet.
And the coolest colleagues and friends.
I live footsteps away from the most incredible beach.
I can walk, bike, or scooter to most everywhere I need to go in my daily life.
I have incredible fresh herbs and veggies almost year round in my garden and soon will have substantial annual crop of fruits like blueberries, loquats, goumi, citrus, and roots lke garlic, ginger, galangal, lemongrass and vetiver.
I love my own cooking and enjoy sharing it with others.
I have great employees, today is payday, and I have the pleasure and honor of heading to the office now to do payroll. And later, my BIL arrives for a weekend visit from Denver.
Life is sweet.
