Sorry JR, I have a bullhorn I can lend you. ;-)

NoHall, based on what you've mentioned of the neighbors yard would it be Law & Order: Code Enforcement?

Note to self:

When you are so tired you can barely stay awake for dinner, put on your pjers and go to bed or else you will wake up in your clothes on the sofa at 2:45 am because you didn't take your meds. Actually, I was sleeping fine until Molly heard something (like a leaf fall) and jumped up on the sofa to bark.

The good news is if I didn't need a shower, I'd be ready for my day! :D

That's what happens to me!! I went to bed so early last night and had to make myself stay in bed til 5:30. I hate when I do that.
I soooo know what you mean about the leaf falling/barking:D Maggie usually barks when a cat walks across the yard. :bang:

(*snort!*)

My doctor put me on prescription meds, and I took twice the "suggested" dosage (it's okay--I've taken it at that dose before and know how it affects me) last night and STILL dreamed all night long. I had my throat slit 4 times, and my family left me on a trolley. Or maybe it was a very large open carriage... Either way, it was another exhausting night.

Fortunately, the lack of sleep has made me sick. I'm going to give NyQuil a shot tonight! :dunno: :bang:

No Hall those dreams are terrible. I hope you finally get to sleep without them and I'm going now and try to do the same thing! Prescriptions drugs can bring out really horrific dreams and nightmares. I just finished a 4 week withdrawal from one and I hated to sleep at night....that's when the nightmares got me!

No nightmares last night--I think the NyQuil helped me sleep hard when I slept. (Bronchitis kept waking me up!)

The nightmares ARE awful, but they don't bother me at face value because I know they're neurological, not psychological! There's something wrong with my brain, but not with my heart or mind.

The good news is that the nightmares and disruptive sleep tends to come in cycles--I've noticed that it's worse in the early spring, but I don't know why. I have every reason to believe that it will go away in a week or so (if not sooner.)

I was diagnosed with narcolepsy 16 years ago, so I've gotten used to some of it. Like my brother says, it's not really dangerous, just annoying.
