*Have I mentioned how much I hate, fear, and dread daylight savings time? It screws with my head. It stays light here until 9:30 at night, and I'm supposed to go to sleep?

Completely missed that one. I've been hanging out in the lounge. Sorry, my friend! I'll go do my homework and get back to you! (I really enjoyed my clean sheets last night!)

The 100-watt light bulb comes on at 5:30-ish. The first alarm goes off at 5:55. The second one goes off at 6:10. I get up at about 6:35.

Weekends depend. I usually have to get up by 8:00 for something or another.

I have a 10-ounce diet Mt. Dew on the way to school. Sometimes I have a small glass of diet Coke with lunch, depending on my level of sleepiness. If I have an evening rehearsal or library duty I may have another one at 5, but I never, never have caffeine after 6.

Do you ever have an irrational irritation/jealousy caused by the snoring of your pets/spouse when you can't sleep? Or am I just a bad person?

Ummmm...no. My parents have custody of my pets, and I can't seem to locate my spouse.

But now I have an irrational jealousy of people with spouses. ;-) (Irrational meaning that I understand how lucky I am to not have one, but I'm still jealous.)

p.s. Y'all might want to send up an extra prayer in the morning. I'm up too late, and I have an 8:15 class of 7th and 8th graders in the morning. First day of the quarter, and I'm already going to have to lay down the law with them. If I'm tired and grumpy, it could get ugly real fast.
