Can't sleep? This thread's for you!

Ummmm...no. My parents have custody of my pets, and I can't seem to locate my spouse.

But now I have an irrational jealousy of people with spouses. ;-) (Irrational meaning that I understand how lucky I am to not have one, but I'm still jealous.)

A spouse would only lecture you about your poor sleep hygiene. Then you'd feel guilty on top of tired.

I thought Nohall cleaned her comforters yesterday. Only a doctors wife would say sleep hygiene. That cracks me up.

p.s. Y'all might want to send up an extra prayer in the morning. I'm up too late, and I have an 8:15 class of 7th and 8th graders in the morning. First day of the quarter, and I'm already going to have to lay down the law with them. If I'm tired and grumpy, it could get ugly real fast.

Do you ever have an irrational irritation/jealousy caused by the snoring of your pets/spouse when you can't sleep? Or am I just a bad person?

No, you're not a bad peson. Yes. I was gonna post on here how I dealt with this all night from about 12:30 on until I finally just gave up. Personally, I don't know how one sleeps THAT deeply. Man or dog.

Me, too...I'm not even sure what it means. I take a shower at night, so I'm usually pretty clean before I get in my really clean bed. ?!

The kids were nuckin' futz today, but I'm willing to blame it on the full-ish moon. I came home early so as not to murder any of the little darlings, and I'm going to take a nap before my stupid rehearsal tonight. I'm in such a bad mood I can't even see straight. I guess it makes up for the last couple of months when I've been irrationally cheerful. :angry:

Mission accomplished--I had a lovely 90-minute nap this afternoon. I had kind of a nap hangover for a while afterward, but still felt better.

I just hope that it doesn't mean I'm up half the night again. (I'm yawning--that's a good sign, right?)
