Mango-Your pics make me wonder how the earliest colonists and natives survived such harsh cold. Amazing how hardy they were!

That reminds me of what wusses we are today.

Mango...ice is so beautiful, yet so dangerous. Sorta' like me. :rotfl:

Here comes some more...

Beyond the weekend, waves of arctic air will plunge over the eastern two-thirds of the nation. Blustery winds will usher the bitterly cold air southward, resulting in even colder and potentially dangerous temperatures.

Global warming? Oh, right...They call it climate change, now...

Did SUVs cause the last warm up after the ice age.
Do they contribute to the ongoing continental shifts?
Could continental drift be the real cause of ice caps size change
How much gas is emitted by volcanoes, and is it measured against mans emissions, and if so, whats the ratio
Could the earths orbit getting closer to the sun every year be the main contributor to climate change (used to be called mother nature did she get fired or did she quit)
If the seas have been rising for the last 10 years by 2ft how come Key West is still above water
(highest point 14 ft)

I think there should be a ban on distilled spirits (wink wink). I watched a show last night that showed a distillery making whiskey. They said that either 8 or 80 tons of CO2 is produced during the fermentation cycle, yet, I have never heard a global warming myrmidon call for limits on emissions from distilleries...

Hmmmm...

The world has never faced such a predictably massive threat to food production as that posed by the melting mountain glaciers of Asia. China and India are the world?s leading producers of both wheat and rice?humanity?s food staples. China?s wheat harvest is nearly double that of the United States, which ranks third after India. With rice, these two countries are far and away the leading producers, together accounting for over half of the world harvest.

But the US is by far the largest wheat exporter. We continue to feed the world. China is a large importer of wheat. Lots of hungry mouthes to feed.

Tropical cyclone (TC) activity worldwide has completely and utterly collapsed during the past 2 to 3 years with TC energy levels sinking to levels not seen since the late 1970s.

Remember...It's not Global Warming, anymore. It's Climate Change. You have to be able to have your cake and eat it, too...

I'll leave you two and your "climate boners". :D:leaving:
