I noticed today that the Bastard Cabbage is fast overtaking the bluebonnets. It's everywhere!!

Poodleone - love your backyard bluebonnets. Did you seed them and then they just reproduce for you or do you seed some every year?

DD - ThankYou for the Bastard Cabbage link !! For years we just call that "something in the mustard family" - now I have a catchy name that I think I will remember.

Spent some time in Texas and enjoyed Bluebonnet season--especially since it meant that Fredericksburg Peach Season was coming soon! Sorry Georgia--your peaches are the pits compared to a small, sweet, juicy, Texas-sun-warmed, just-picked Fredericksburg Peach.

I tried to rep you for this, but no go. Anyway, I love me some F'burg peaches too. Hopefully, I'll be off Phase 1 of SB by then!:bang: It's worth the drive down there just for the peaches! Of course, a little side trip over to Luckenbach helps make it a little more funn!
