One of the teachers at my school drinks a lot of coffee. By "a lot," some of the students claim that he drinks upward of 30 cups a day.

A couple of other teachers have noticed that this teacher smells awful. At first we just assumed that it was B.O., but it isn't really that musky sort of smell. Now we wonder if the coffee is coming out of his pores. It's just an unpleasant odor--it doesn't smell like coffee, but it does remind me of coffee breath and dirty socks mixed together.

Does anyone have any experience with coffee breath B.O.?

Coffee breath and BO? No, not personally. But, a roommate of mine went on a bender drinking and ate Italian food with lots of garlic on Friday night. It was Christmas and we went out Sat. shopping. I kept saying, "What is that smell?" And, rolling the windows down.....she was clueless! She stank for days! And, so did my car and our apt.! :rotfl:

I'd heard that about alcohol and about garlic, but I'm thinking THAT much coffee has to be doing it. Or maybe he's drinking heavily at night. Either way, you know it's bad when the students (who have to be thrown in the shower by bigger cadets periodically) complain of the smell.

30 cups of coffee? I'm sure that's the culprit.....why not replace the coffee with some that's aromatic like hazelnut! :rotfl: :rotfl: Or, cinnamon!!! :rotfl:

Consume enough of anything and it will come out your pores, but IMO if he's having 30 cups o' caffiene a day he's screwing up his body/sweat glands and sweating at a different rate than usual.

Ask Dr. Skunky for detilas, but that just ain't healthy!

It could be the coffee. I've had mornings when all I drank was coffee. My tee tee break (that's for you Miss Kitty) smelled like someone poured coffee in the toilet. It's probably oozing out of his pores and I'll be he has sleep issues as well. :D

Yes I am aware that the first part of this falls into the TMI category.
