Has a car alarm ever kept a car from being stolen or are they just massive noise pollution? Seriously, anyone ever heard a car alarm go off and rushed to the scene to thwart a crime, or seen anyone else do it? All I've ever seen is a vehicle that annoys the sheet out of everyone until the owner finally turns it off or the alarm cycles off.

And just how many times does the neighbor's pucking car alarm have to go off before I can justify whacking it with a golf club?

I went to see a friend play at a club in Atlanta and a car went by with the alarm going if. He said, "Obviously the alarms don't work." He told me that it happened all the time--someone would steal the car with the alarm going off. :dunno:

I had an alarm in my old Grand Wagoneer and I had never heard it go off - in something like 5 or 6 yrs. So, I surmised it didn't work......until it needed a new alternator. The garage somehow set it off and they didn't know how to disengage it. Then, they proceeded to call me on my cell phone? How about mounted in the console! Complete comedy of errors!! :funn::funn:

Why are all the pants made low rise now? Wat about the peeps with high waists? Do they think everyone wants teir belly button and butt cracks sticking out? and what's with the ladies blouses? they all like like maternity wear? Is this to cover te bulging belly buttons and butt cracks? :bang:

and my h is not working right on my computer.

:lol:oh, so true mangy!!! I like the mid rise stuff with my short self. but it seems these days your choices are LOW rise, or you can go for the high waisted/elastic pant. we need more in between choices.

some of the maternity looking tops are actually cute. you would think it would cover up belly rolls but all it does is make you look about 6-9 months along.
