The thing is I used to sell advertising and I can hear the pitch now:
We have a distribution of 100,000 every three months, that's a minimum of 400,000 people seeing your ad every year, and most phone books are looked at by at least 4 people! For a mere $500.00 your business is in front of 1.6 million people! Our deadline for space in this issue at this price is this Tuesday. Don't miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to advertise in the Real Yellow Pages at this low low price. :roll:

email address that you can send a request in writing to stop delivery to your address. I'm going to try it, but I'd bet my kid's savings accounts that delivery doesn't stop.

:$&9&); they showed up here and had the dogs barking at dawn the other day. I now have a stockpile of water balloons on the upstairs deck and I intend to use them!
The phone book delivery people must be reading my mind. Today, I found my bagged phone book resting on top of my garbage can at the entrance to my driveway! Now if the other 13 phone book companies will follow suit...

Phone Books
I just read this stuff about the phone books. Ya'll are cracking me up!!! I just moved in about a week ago and got a phone and so far have not gotten any phone books. I do however, have seen two dropped off at different times at the house next to mine that is under foreclosure. I guess they won't mind if I take one, you think? Since they will probably get many more!? Being new, I do need a phone book. Ya'll can send me one or two!! It might cut down on your phone book population a little.
