I posted the photo so show why it is so frustrating and embarrassing to have gone from that to where I am. Hope I have the energy to stick with the Power 90. I want to look like the old me, obviously taking the years that have gone by into consideration.

You can do it! Try not to focus on the 90 days as much as how good you feel as you complete each day. Just push play and give whatever you got that day. Keep on posting and talking to other people that are doing it. If you miss a day, week, etc. just start again and push on. This is all about progress not perfection! Good luck and don't hesitate to call. As I begin Px90, I will do the same. make yourself accountable to us or a partner. Good luck!

Day 2 Report

I'm pitiful. I couldn't do the whole "poweryoga" thing. My form wasn't too great for what I did do. Maybe two thirds?

Then, I did my own cardio because of health restrictions. I had planned that anyway.

But, the Ab's 100 didn't get to 100. I did the first 5 of 10 - which I thought might kill me, but then I only did 4 to 7 of the rest. Maybe the way I did those second 5 didn't really count anyway, but I tried my best. I'm sure glad nobody is video taping my efforts!!

So, overall, I feel good that I haven't given up. And, I've got no where to go but up from here!! :D

Oh yeah, and my little, tiny, out-of-shape abs are screaming when I move the wrong way.

Ok....I ordered ours today! :yikes: You have all motivated me to get moving...and that's what we are going to do. I have to admit that I am a little scared...I am sooooo out of shape. Winnie, I think you are fab for being so candid...you and I are going to bond during this experience, I just know it!

You are inspiring! You'll get better. I remember will daughter and I did Billy Blanks -- the first week I thought I'd have a heart attack.

Bobby J, shouldn't one just alot themselves a certain amount of time at the beginning, whether it be 30 or 45 minutes, until (a) you figure out the exercises amd (b) you get stronger? I remember with Billy Blanks. we spent more time figuring out the moves than exercising.

Yes, Yes. In the beginning just be real easy on yourself. It make take a week or two to find your strength or groove. Everyone complains about the Power Yoga. You will be amazed if you just keep showing up. The muscles that are going to fail you tend to be the muscles that have a capacity to heal and get strong very fast. DO NOT LET YOUR HEAD TAKE YOU OUT OF THE GAME. Try to come at this thing as a lifestyle change. Not a diet or a program. This is how you are going to live from now on! Keep telling your mind this. Eventually, the brain will catch on and the voices that are telling you to STOP, will be gone. Tony reminds you through out 1-2 that you need to listen to your body. Don't try to compete with anyone. I promise it will be worth it.

If anyone ever needs me to come over and help them through a section feel free to call. I will gladly join you and help you walk through it.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement!

I did Sculpt again today. Right at the beginning, those pushups really hurt - I was kind of thinking ahead to the "7-7-7" part and worried. But, I got busy with what was at hand and by the time I got there, it really didn't hurt much at all. In fact, I may have had a little better form than the first time.

I can't wait to see how the poweryoga goes tomorrow!! :D
Since the Sculpt was even better than the first day, it should be as well. Positive thinking...positive thinking! I'm going to try to tackle it earlier in the day when I have more energy.

I'm not giving up, that's for sure. I can do just about anything for 90 days! When I start feeling the results like you all do, I will get even more motivated. Shoot, I'm a little pleased with myself for improved push-up form.

Thanks, Bobby J, and congrats, Winnie.

The doorbell just rang. UPS. I was happy/afraid that it might be the Power 90 -- time to get off my butt. It was something else. One more day of couch potatoing.

Ahhh. I'll bet you were more disappointed than relieved that it isn't here yet. Maybe tomorrow...:D
