look at his past. he can't run from it. it's a lack of respect born of his prejudice. i voted for obama, and i'm republican, and the racist anger is easy to see.

Rita, I apologize. Offending you was not my intent. You are correct, I do not know you, and was just using your example, being that you posted it, to make a point. I know people don't like being clumped together, but, IMO, the people that post in this section tend to just mouth off to each other and try to piss each other off. That was the point I was trying to make. Not that you don't stand up to your family. Again, I apologize, and I am not here to just be a "flamer"(not quite sure what this is). I am concerned about the direction my country is going, and don't think that the status quo is working. I don't care what party affiliation someone has; it's their views and actions I'm concerned about.

TY - but I truly do not respond here to try to "piss people off". In fact that is when I get my hackles up the most - which I realize plays right into their hands but ....... You may consider me a "pisser offer" Ha! ...but I don't think of myself that way - I guess there is that old saying "the faults you see in other people are likely faults you have yourself." hmmm sorry if I come across that way.
Anyway, I agree with your concern for the direction of our country and believe the extreme right & left talking heads play a role in the vitriol that goes around.

Yes FT, Bob is my only Republican friend. I only hang around with treehuggers, Obamalovers, atheists, Muslims, elitists, and ACORN employees.

Nor I for you. You are obviously not very well educated nor have you been raised by parents who taught you to respect people who have made great contributions to Americans and people of the world. What have you done that gives you the feeling that you are superior to a great humanitarian like Jimmy Carter? Won the Nobel lately? Started an organization that has fed and clothed thousands? Traveled to world centers of human right abuses to see that their elections are fair. What have you done to make this a better world Scooter? Can't WAIT to hear your reply.
