NO!

Santa is the anti-Satan, spreading joy, the message of giving, promoting good behavior, and increasing family togetherness.

Let's see... he's obese, has way too much facial hair, only wears one outfit all year long, and only works one day per year! He may not be Satan, but man, he's kinda like a slacker, isn't he? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'll give you the gut, but the beard, seasonal employment, and one nice holiday outfit that gets worn year after year is all standard Midwest/UP!

If you believe in God you better believe in Satan!

The concept of God spans many religions and faiths. Satan is primarily a Judeo Christian construct and doesn't necessarily have to go hand in hand with the concept of God.

Ps. Santa Claus is an amazing force for good and this thread is lame to have started in the first place. I hope the OP is on Santa's naughty list this year! ;-)

Well, first, Santa is not affiliated with any one religion, he is just affiliated with this particular holiday, so it isn't possible for him to be Satan. Second, his positive actions would fly in the face of everything that Satan would supposedly want.

I can imagine that you might yourself on his bad side if you suggest that he is the epitome of all evil though. I can't imagine him appreciating that, especially after all he does to make your holiday special year after year, for no pay. Seriously the guy is an example for all charitable organizations, which is another reason why he can't be Satan... I can't see Satan doing anything charitable.

strange question

:dunno: how do "plot against" and "saint nick" even remotely resemble the other one? One is representative of the good and positive things in life, the other is a fallen archangel on the long black train to hell. I can't prove it, but you can't disprove it. just curious
