I LOVED Like Water For Chocolate - the book was fantastic too. Has to be the one with subtitles though. Dubbed looses the charm and magic.

How to Marry a Millionaire... How can you beat a romcom with Betty Grable, Marilyn Monroe and Lauren Bacall?! Classic!

In general, I don't like Billy Chrystal either, but I thought he was perfect, as a morally challenged publicity agent in America's Sweethearts. I don't like Julia Roberts either but John Cusack was simply brilliant as a neurotic actor in that movie.

Cusack is always on - he has charisma! Even his bad movies are watchable. Pretty Woman and Erin Brockovich make up for a lot of mediocre fare.

Titanic I like a lot. Braveheart i thought of but too much facepaint and blood to make the list (surprised you don't like Tebow). Danial Day Lewis - now there's an actor! Love Actually - I admit to having seen it more than most straight men.

A Good Year is excellent but it is more about a man finding himself than romance. Although the romance part is sweet. It was made in France, but if it had been made by French he would have slept with his younger cousin and his housekeeper. And his Limey buddy. As well as Marion Cotilliard the waitress.

Far and Away is incredible. Incredible in that it is actually a good Cruise movie. Top Gun is a better romantic movie. If you are gay. And if you are gay you might like it better than Brokeback Mountain.

Anyone seen Blue Broke Mountain Beach?

A Good Year--loved it! Love me some RC. Maybe I've mentioned that before.
The Way We Were--oh my gosh--hadn't thought of this in years. I still remember the scene where Babs reaches up and brushes the hair out of RR's eyes. Sigh......

John R--Chocolat...great flick. I love me some JD too-most of the time.
