All I have to go on is my own personal experience. ObamaCare has negatively impacted my life. The PatriotAct? I'm not a fan of that but really, it hasn't effected me at all.

(I also don't think Obama and the democrats should get a free pass because "Goerge Bush did it too." That's a lame excuse.)

Is it Obamacare or the, apparently far left concept, that denial of care based on a preexisting is wrong?

Carriers have already reacted to ObamaCare and if you are presently covered, you most likely have access to 'new care' not subject to copays or deductibles even if your plan is designed with copays and deductibles......this equates to an increase in premium at renewal. If you are covered by a large corporation's plan that self-insures up to a certain limit, your shared cost might be minimally affected because of the nature of how those plans are underwritten. Otherwise, your premium will be higher in 2011.......I promise.......in some cases, substantially higher. I just did a search for myself and the same plan I had for my company is now almost double. Oh well......I'm out of business, so I guess that's a moot point, right?

Here's the pulse of ObamaCare from the industry: amendments will go into effect prior to 2014.

How has the Patriot Act not affected everyone? You would have to be completely under the radar to not have complied with this Act since late 2001. Big Brother knows and knows a lot.....and, is about to know a lot more.

At least the "socialists" posters are proffessional made and the spelling is correct! Good for them!

I'm not a grammar stickler, but isn't there a verb and noun disagreement between 'party' and 'stand' on the small sign? Kudos to the grammar geek that corrects me if I'm wrong, I'm not looking it up:wave:

 Spelling must be really important to you.

 :lolabove:

So you're really going to attack education? Is that next on the right wing hit list?

Another photo you'll never see from a tea party rally in DC:

(Hint: It's all the people)

If this were Tea Partiers, I'm sure these two fingers, in addition to, "Peace!" would mean, "Only two more years!"  Whew!

Curious, did you retire?

I do agree with you that the premiums increase is ridiculous and entirely Obama's fault. He should have stood up to the Republicans and insurance companies and said sorry you're out of business we are going to a single payer system.

30ashopper posted a video above that talks about the nationalization of healthcare and student loans. Both of those industries are built on one principle:

Useless middlemen who make a profit off of providing a service the government can do far cheaper.
