To put the record straight, I am a white male who has struggled all his life, paid my taxes, paid my mortgages, and now am facing the collapse of our economy, and probably bankruptcy and foreclosure sometime down the line, because of the fiscal policies implemented and promoted by filthy rich, pre-dominantly fat, white Republicants (although I have bitterness for virtually all politicians, at this point) who have rigged the system by buying and selling the spineless politicians and who are as equally to blame as the millions of incompetent Fedreal employees who drain our treasury of trillions of dollars yearly on insane levels of defense spending and total ineptitude and waste, at every level. This has nothing to do with race. It's all incopetence and greed. Have a nice day.

Maybe so, but this could be a real threat or a hoax. Me thinks he really has something damaging. This kind of threat, real or not, is in my opinion a direct threat to national security.

Now that WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has been arrested, will he unleash his "thermonuclear device?"

He appeared to hint at the option last week, when he threatened that ?key parts? of secret US government cables would be released if anything happened to him or WikiLeaks.
The "thermonuclear device," so named by Mr. Assange's lawyer, is believed to refer to a mysterious 1.4 GB file labeled "insurance" that was uploaded onto the WikiLeaks website in late July, just after the website published 77,000 Afghan war documents.
The file, believed to include the more than 251,000 US State Department cables obtained by WikiLeaks, is seen as an insurance policy for the embattled WikiLeaks in case of potential attacks on its founder or its website before the full trove is made available to the public.

A lot of them were obvious, many were not. Since the people compiling the list in foreign countries were asked not to include the foreign governments in compiling the list, there was obviously quite a bit of non-public and non-obvious info.
