Somehow, I'm just not feeling even the tiniest bit guilty about "cruel" interrogation techniques today:

Actually jp nettles did get banned. If you look at the posts, it says "Banned" in the avatar block.
I'm not feeling guilty about the techniques either, since I had nothing to do with them. It's the people who carried out these techniques that are the problem. I find it odd when people make connections between events that have nothing to do with each other. I don't see how snaking tube up people's asses is going to bring about a reduction in mass killings by terrorists. It certainly doesn't bring about a sense that justice has been served. Unfortunately, I think the trauma experienced by some but not all of the young survivors is going to be a contributing factor to their future participation in similar acts. Like it or not, that's just the reality. That's the way some people respond to such events.
Now if only a few others (like me for instance) get banned. It'll be the same as MSNBC around here.
